Privacy Policy — Tile Merge Puzzle

This Privacy Policy explains how Tile Merge Puzzle (the “App”, package com.merge2248.number.puzzle) handles information. The App is developed by Drift Studio (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you agree to this policy.

Summary

• We do not require an account, sign-in, name, or email to play.
• We do not collect or store personal data on our own servers. Your game progress lives only on your device.
• The App shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers (including the Advertising ID) to serve and measure ads. This is the only third-party data collection in the App.
• In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we show a consent request (Google User Messaging Platform) before ads load, as required by law.

Information stored on your device

The App saves the following locally on your device and does not transmit it to us:

• Game progress: best score, coins, boosters, unlocked themes, XP/level, daily-streak state, achievements, and a display nickname you type in-app.
• Settings such as sound and reminder preferences.

Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes this information permanently. We provide no cloud backup, so this data cannot be recovered by us.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. To provide and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain data, which can include:

• The device Advertising ID and general device information (model, OS version, language, coarse/derived location from IP, network state).
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) for measurement and fraud prevention.

We do not control and are not responsible for Google’s data practices. See: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

You can limit ad personalization at any time via your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), including resetting or deleting your Advertising ID.

Consent (EEA / UK / Switzerland)

Where required by the GDPR and similar laws, the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request your consent before any ad is loaded. Your choice governs whether personalized ads are shown and can be changed or withdrawn where the ad provider offers a privacy-options prompt.

Notifications

The App can schedule local reminder notifications generated on your device. These send no data off the device. You can turn them off in the App’s Settings → Reminders, or in your device’s notification settings for the App.

Permissions the App uses

• Internet / Network state — to load ads.
• Advertising ID (AD_ID) — used by AdMob as described above.
• Post notifications — to show the local reminders (prompted on Android 13+).

Children’s privacy

The App is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Because game data is stored only on your device, you control its retention: uninstall the App or clear its data to delete it. For AdMob-collected data, use the Google links above or your device’s Ads settings.

Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. As we hold no personal data on our servers, ad-related requests should be directed to Google or exercised through your device’s Ads and app-storage controls. You may also contact us below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-app or store notice.
